Residential remodeling

Kitchen, bathroom and home remodeling in Sarasota.

Good remodeling is more than a collection of finish choices. Demolition, hidden conditions, trade sequencing and inspection requirements determine how smoothly the project moves.

Durion coordinates whole-home and multi-room renovations, kitchens, bathrooms, custom showers, flooring, drywall, painting, trim, doors and related repairs. When plumbing, electrical, HVAC or structural work is involved, the scope is organized around the required licensed trades and permits.

The process begins with priorities: what must change, what can remain, the finish level, occupancy constraints and the target budget. That information helps separate essential work from optional upgrades before materials are ordered.

Project planning

Turn finish ideas into a buildable remodeling scope.

Plan room by room

For each space, record what stays, what is removed, what changes location and what replaces it. Kitchens and bathrooms also need clear fixture, tile, cabinetry, door, trim and transition decisions so small gaps do not become repeated trade changes.

Review the systems behind it

Compare the proposed layout with existing plumbing, electrical, HVAC and structural conditions before materials are ordered. Moving a wall or fixture can affect licensed trades and permits as well as the visible finish work.

Account for what is hidden

A written scope should separate known work from conditions that cannot be confirmed before demolition and explain how new findings will be documented. Photos, approximate dimensions, available plans and occupancy constraints make the first review more useful.

Custom kitchen planning

Plan cabinet layout, appliance locations, countertops, backsplash, lighting and flooring together. Changes to sinks, circuits or walls should be reviewed with the required licensed trades before materials are ordered.

Custom tile showers

Define the shower footprint, waterproofing system, drain location, tile layout, niche and glass enclosure before demolition. Coordinate plumbing changes, inspections and finish selections in the written scope.

Financing available

Ask about construction loans for new custom homes.

Boglarka can also help you explore roof financing and financing options for remodeling, additions and alterations.

All financing is subject to lender approval, eligibility and terms. Availability depends on the lender and your circumstances; approval is not guaranteed.

Homeowner program resource

My Safe Florida Home

Ask DURION about an estimate for eligible hurricane mitigation improvements. Eligible homeowners apply through the official My Safe Florida Home program. Grant approval is required before work begins; only inspection-recommended, program-approved improvements qualify.

Eligible work may include opening protection, roof-to-wall attachments, roof-deck attachments and secondary water resistance. This program is separate from construction loans and roof financing. Check the official program for current eligibility, application status and funding information.
